FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes electromagnetic pulse welding coil, containing at least one area made in form of narrow web, which contains expanded end area, and rest part of coil, which is at least one L- or U-shaped metal part of rectangular cross-section, as well as a method for increasing service life of said electromagnetic pulse welding coil.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of servicing the coil, replacement of the failed structural part and prolonging the service life of the coil while maintaining its technical characteristics.
