SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for determining leaks in a hydraulic circuit of trailer brakes. Controller, the main valve, the first sensor, the second sensor, the control valve having an electromagnet, a reducing valve, a source of fluid medium, the first brake output, the second brake output are provided. First pressure is fed into main valve inlet. Second pressure is released from the main valve outlet to the first braking output. Determining first pressure by first sensor and second pressure by second sensor. Certain first pressure and second pressure are transmitted to the controller. Comparing difference between first pressure and second pressure with threshold value and determining leakage in hydraulic circuit of trailer brakes, if difference satisfies threshold value. Invention covers also hydraulic brake systems of trailer.
EFFECT: control of gain in hydraulic brake valve of trailer.
