FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, particularly measuring instruments for measurement of internal dimensions of parts, for example, holes. Method for measuring hole diameter consists in the fact that in the hole the pre-set indicating indicator is installed, having measuring rods contacting the surface of the measured hole, diameter of the hole is determined by the deviation of the needle of the indicator head relative to the preset size. Measured bore is fitted with pre-calibrated resilient ring with clearance in lock, on free ends of which there are plates of high hardness, then measuring gap is installed measuring wedge from material of same hardness as plates, marks on wedge correspond to limiting dimensions of control hole, as well as with labels corresponding to boundaries of selective groups of monitored hole, wherein measuring wedge is buried to the limit so that its axis is located parallel to generatrixes of measured hole, wherein the rolling force must be such that the calibrated ring installed in the measured hole during measurement remains in place, the location of the corresponding mark on the wedge relative to the face of the upper surface of the ring is used to determine the diameter of the measured hole or the size group.

EFFECT: technical result achieved from implementation of disclosed invention is higher efficiency and accuracy of monitoring holes diameter, in the possibility of breaking the monitored hole into selective groups, in the possibility of bringing operators of low qualification to the hole diameter control, as well as in the holes diameters monitoring possibility in the absence of universal measuring devices.
