FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure the large size of the internal surfaces of machine parts and mechanisms in heavy engineering, in the military-industrial sector and other industries. In the inside dial gauge, comprising a housing with a centering bridge, in the hole of which on one side a rod (fixed during measurement) with a spherical measuring head, which is able to move during adjustment, is screwed in, and in the coaxial hole on the other side of the housing there is a movable measuring rod, the outer part of which has a spherical measuring head, and the inner one – flat head, in contact with the measuring tip of the indicator. According to the claimed invention, on two sides in the upper part of the body there are grooves made, in which there are jaws for adjustment of the device, rigidly connected with movable and fixed rods, having the possibility of axial movement together with the rods and having certified distances from the spherical measuring surfaces of the heads of the rods to the outer surfaces of the corresponding jaws.
EFFECT: reducing the inside dial gauge setting error due to the use of standard means of smaller size in comparison with the measured size and, consequently, improving the measurement accuracy.
