FIELD: autonomous power devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for stable supply of electricity to consumers in a distributed power generation. The autonomous power supply contains a vertical-axial wind power plant installed on a supporting tower, mechanically connected with an electric generator located inside the supporting tower, consisting of a rotor and a stator, and with a kinetic energy storage based on a flywheel. Autonomous power supply source also contains a system for accumulating and converting electrical energy connected to an electric generator, an automatic control system and an anemometer located on the anemometer support tower. The wind wheel is connected to the rotor through a transmission between the rotor and the wind wheel, the flywheel of the kinetic accumulator is connected to the shaft through a continuously variable automatic transmission, which is connected to the rotor of the electric motor through a transmission between the rotor and the shaft.
EFFECT: expanding the range of stable operation of the source both at low wind speeds and at peak energies.
