FIELD: glass; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glass articles, and more specifically to overturning mechanism of a machine for moulding glass articles. Mechanism comprises: support structure; shaft arranged horizontally in upper part of support structure with possibility of rotation about its own axis; drive means connected to the shaft to provide rotational movement of the shaft to the left or to the right; cylindrical housing having a longitudinal hole with an eccentric reference axis. Housing is reliably connected to the shaft through the longitudinal hole in an eccentric position. At least one hollow cylinder is connected to each cylindrical body. Each hollow cylinder has supports connected to its external part, which are connected to arms of neck ring holder so that first sliding movement of hollow cylinder along cylindrical housing provides lateral movement to the right or to the left for opening and closing of shoulder supports of neck ring holder in parallel. Rotary movement provides for displacement of neck ring holder by 180° from rough mould to mould for final blowing.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of parts design, as well as easier manufacture and assembly.
