FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, to cardiosurgery. Performing partial dissection of the superior vena cava in the region of its mouth, wherein its stump is formed at angle of 40-50° to back wall of right atrium of recipient. Thereafter, in the right auricle removal, a section of its tissue is left between the hollow veins, width making 1/4-1/5 of the diameter of the superior vena cava. When implementing an anastomosis with a donor's lower vena cava, the anastomosis is formed at a congruent angle to the formed upper vena cava of the recipient. When hollow vein anastomoses are formed within the left posterior tissue of the right atrium of the recipient, the hollow veins are sutured as duplicated.

EFFECT: method enables higher clinical effectiveness in the given category of patients, improved quality and length of their life, as a result of regression of signs of terminal stage of chronic cardiac failure, due to fixation, allowing to exclude probability of torsion and excessive tension of anastomosis area, breach of tightness.
