SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of operating a low-voltage power-distributing device and a method of controlling opening of a low-voltage power-distributing device. Low-voltage power-distributing device includes a detection unit, the configuration of which provides sending a closed-state signal to the control unit, when low-voltage power-distributing device is in closed state, and control unit, which is connected to detection unit and configuration of which provides low-voltage power distribution device possibility of switching from closed state to open state for opening when receiving closed state signal, as well as meeting opening condition.

EFFECT: disclosed method of controlling opening of a low-voltage power-distributing device is to detect whether a low-voltage power-distributing device is in a closed state, detecting whether the opening condition is met, associated with the low-voltage power-distributing device, in response to finding low-voltage power-distributing device in closed state and meeting the opening condition cause the low-voltage power-distributing device to perform the opening action to allow the low-voltage power-distributing device to switch from the closed state to the open state.
