FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for the production of building materials and can be used in the manufacture of products from coarse building ceramics - bricks, drainage pipes, etc. The method of drying molded raw brick includes placing it in a dryer, supplying and withdrawing a coolant, removing water vapor, monitoring the drying process and changing its modes according to the results of control. A wireless video camera is placed on each of the means for moving molded bricks along the dryer. The camera helps to control the process of drying. To control the process of drying, the surface of one or several bricks is continuously photographed after bricks are loaded into the dryer. The resulting images are sent to a computer with a neural network installed in it. The computer processes the image to recognize defective areas in it. That's why each image is divided into fragments. A histogram of the distribution of the brightness gradient vectors at all points of a fragment is prepared for each fragment. The resulting histogram is inputted in the pretrained neural network with the help of which each fragment is classified by referring it to one of two classes: cracks depending on the brick drying modes or defects that do not depend on the brick drying modes. The detected defects in the process of further drying are automatically continuously monitored, during which frame-by-frame comparison of brightness histograms of image fragments is performed. When a dynamic change in the compared histograms is detected, which indicates a dynamic change in the detected defect, the neural network from its knowledge base generates recommendations to the operator who, in accordance with the recommendations changes the drying modes and namely humidity and temperature until there are no more defects. After that speed, temperature and humidity of the coolant are maintained in the mode established after the elimination of all defects or after an increase in the number of these defects is stopped.
EFFECT: invention significantly simplifies the process of drying.
