FIELD: adhesive materials.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the use of a sealing gel, use of a sealing compound and a pneumatic tire of an automotive vehicle. Disclosed is use of a sealing gel having a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4) at 100 °C in range from 100 MU to 170 MU, in sealing compounds, in particular, to improve adhesion and cohesion properties. Sealing gel is presented: i) in form of a mixture containing a diene rubber-based (A) gel, obtained by emulsion polymerisation of at least one conjugated diene in the presence of at least one cross-linking agent (I), and a diene rubber (B) based gel obtained by emulsion polymerisation of at least one conjugated diene in the presence of at least one cross-linking agent (II), or ii) in form of a mixture containing diene rubber-based gel (A), and gel (H), obtained by emulsion polymerisation of at least one conjugated diene in the presence of at least one cross-linking agent (I), and in presence of at least one cross-linking agent (II). Disclosed is use of sealing compound as a sealing layer in tires, preferably on inner layers of lining in pneumatic tires of automotive vehicle, hollow bodies or membranes. Sealing compound includes at least one sealing gel according to any of claims. 1–8 in amount of 45 phr to 100 phr (parts per hundred parts of rubber), resin (C) in amount of 10 phr to 60 phr and, optionally, natural rubber or synthetic rubber (E) in amount of 0 phr to 55 phr.

EFFECT: technical result is providing sealing gels for use in sealing compounds for self-sealing tires, which correspond to high requirements when used in practice, especially in terms of adhesion and cohesion properties, and can have viscoelastic properties, providing sealing compounds having excellent adhesion and cohesion and having minimum deterioration of rolling resistance.
