SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for feeding powder for supply of a cover powder to a powder applicator. Device includes working container (1), which is made and can be operated so that it can be under pressure. Working container (1) further includes powder inlet (50) and powder outlet (51.1), wherein powder outlet (51.1) is connected to powder discharge valve (13). In addition, there is powder line (40) which is connected to the powder discharge valve (13) on the inlet side and has inlet (17) for transport air (TL) on the inlet side. Line (40) of powder can be connected on the side of outlet with powder applicator (4; 5). Besides, control unit (80) is provided, which is designed and can be operated so that it controls supplied amount (Q) of powder, repeatedly opening and closing powder discharge valve (13).

EFFECT: invention allows controlling flow rate of powder regardless of amount of powder.
