FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed metering device for powdery materials is used for supply of aluminum oxide and aluminum fluoride to electrolysis cell to produce aluminum. Device has container in the form of elongated closed chute with fluidizing element placed in base of container to feed air for fluidization of powdery material located in chute. Container is provided with intake of powdery material from storage in the form of hopper or similar structure and with outlet for release of metered powdery material. In agreement with invention fluidizing element is displaced with regard to intake of specified chute of container in direction of its release with formation of area inactive for fluidization of powdery material. Line to supply air is fitted with controller. EFFECT: simplified process of measurement and metering of fluidized powdery material, improved design of metering device and its versatility in regulation of individual zones. 2 cl, 2 dwg
