FIELD: electrical power supply.

SUBSTANCE: electrical loads and the battery are connected via on-board electrical distribution network to vehicle’s power generator. The battery supplies electrical energy to the on-board distribution network of the vehicle when the generator is not running. During the operation of the power generator, the level of constant voltage in the on-board distribution network is maintained stable and lower than the values specified by the manufacturer of the battery for charging it. The battery is charged by supplying the battery with a charging voltage, the level of which is selected in accordance with the conditions specified by the manufacturers of the battery used on the vehicle.

EFFECT: increase of the resource of electrical loads and vehicle battery is achieved.
