FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar ranging, and in particular to the near-Earth space monitoring by means of radar equipment. Survey ground-and-space radar station consists of a space-based transmitting station, which includes a transmitting device and a transmitting antenna connected to it, and a ground receiving station, which includes a receiving antenna and a digital signal processing unit. Receiving station includes a system of digital beam formation, inputs connected to outputs of the receiving antenna, and outputs - to inputs of the digital signal processing unit, the output of which is connected to the storage and updating unit of the local catalogue of space objects. Transmitting antenna having a beam pattern narrowed to 1–2° and a multi-beam receiving antenna in the form of a digital antenna array form a radar barrier.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is reduction of power requirements of transmitting device.
