FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. An ophthalmic tweezer includes: a tubular portion; a pair of thinned sections; a pair of slit formation regions provided on the distal end of thinned sections; a pair of clamping sections provided on the side of the distal end of the slot formation portions; and, in fact, S-shaped sections formed in sections extending from thin sections to sections of slit formation. When the tubular part is shifted to accommodate completely thinner sections in the inner cavity of the tubular part, the clamping surfaces of the clamping sections are in contact over the surface with each other, and a slot is formed between the pair of the slot forming sections.
EFFECT: use of this invention will allow reducing the gap between the distal ends of the clamping surfaces.
