FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Ablation catheter comprises elongated body, bending section on distal end of body and end electrode with longitudinal axis at distal end of bent section. End electrode comprises shell, inner element and circular section. Shell forms a cavity and has holes for irrigation fluid. Inner element comprises partition and distal parts. Distal portion encloses position sensor and has its cavity at center and along longitudinal axis of electrode. Partition part has polygonal cross-section, which scatters and disperse irrigation fluid fed into electrode. Circular section passes along longitudinal axis of electrode between shell and internal element and covers part of internal element. According to another version internal element of catheter comprises tubular part with position sensor, and main part, and partition part forms number of paths of fluid flow in circular section.
EFFECT: reduced cooling flow at effective use, improved cooling and determination of location due to configuration of tip.
