FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to sealing or insulation of boreholes by means of packers. Shell packer comprises hollow shaft concentrically installed on it sealing shell, consisting of outer and inner elastic layers with a power cord located between them, made of interwoven winding with kapron fabric interwoven at an angle to the axis, on which outer protective sealing rubber layer is applied, and end support hubs. Mandrel with trapezoidal profile is fixed on hollow shaft between end support hubs. Upper support hub is rotatable around the hollow barrel with the help of an annular reversible electric drive, placed in the casing, and the lower one - fixedly resting against the collar on the packer shaft and limited by the pivot turn. Sealing shell is fixed by one end on housing and another one - on lower hub, and between the mandrel and the sealing shell there are torsion beams fixed in the end hubs with the possibility of pressing them to the trapezoidal mandrel by twisting on the mandrel by turning the upper hub, thus forming initial trapezoidal curvature of braces with rectilinear section with self-contracting sealing shell adjoining them with possibility of subsequent expansion of sealing cord shell to inner wall of well casing pipe on length, equal to length of rectilinear section on spacers, due to additional bending of braces by longitudinal compression by their end support hubs at their return to position along mandrel until complete separation of well casing by turning of upper hub in reverse direction by angle, not more than angle of brace twisting on mandrel, by means of annular electric drive equipped with torque sensor, which limits turn of hub in both directions at extreme positions, connected by electric cable to control point.

EFFECT: higher reliability of sealing separation of well casing and sealing shell during descent and lifting packer.
