FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy of precious metals and can be used for extraction of gold from surface of cathodes with their regeneration and repeated use. Cathode precipitation is leached with NaCN solution 3–30 g/l, at temperature 30–60 °C and pH not less than 11, if necessary, H2O2 0.3–20 g/l is used. Obtained gold-containing solution is subjected to secondary electrolytic deforestation in the mode of precipitate self-precipitation.
EFFECT: method allows reducing the value of incomplete production of electrodeposition assembly by 4,1–16,7 times and increasing service life of cathodes by 1,4–36 times.
