FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes processing printed circuit boards with surface mounted radio components to dissolve the tin-containing solder and disconnect the radio components, coagulation of the resulting suspension, decanting and filtration to produce meta-tin acid. Then, lead sulfate with sulfuric acid from the filtrate and metals are precipitated. Herewith before processing the printed circuit boards with methanesulfonic acid, they are subjected to alkaline treatment to destroy the lacquer coating of the surface mounting. After disconnecting the radio components, the copper current-carrying tracks remaining on the boards are dissolved with a mixture containing 25-30% of NaCl and 15-20% of CuCl2 when heated in the presence of surfactant and circulating in operations: dissolution of copper - electrotechnical precipitation of copper from the resulting solution - electrolyte at the cathode current density of 80-120 A/m2.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of processing the electronic circuit boards by additional copper extraction and improving the quality of the produced cathode deposit of copper.
