FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of porous permeable catalytic material by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). Material can be used for making filtering elements, flame arrester, aerators and catalytic filters of internal combustion engine neutralizers. Charge contains 12.6 wt% scale of alloyed steel, 8.6-12.3 wt% of aluminum, 6.9 wt% of chromium, 12.4 wt% of nickel, 54.6-58.3 wt% molding clay and 1.2 wt% copper.
EFFECT: higher quality of catalytic cleaning of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines with articles made from said mixture.
