FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to the composition of a charge for obtaining a porous permeable material by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). It can be used for production of filtration elements, flame arresters, aerators and catalytic filters of exhaust gases neutralizers of internal combustion engines. Charge contains the following, wt.%: iron scale of alloyed steels – 47.4-47.8; chromium (III) oxide – 10.5-12.5; chrome – 5.2-6.5; nickel – 5.4-6.2; aluminium – 12.2-12.7; xenotime ore – 13.0-17.0; copper – 1.4-2.2.
EFFECT: higher resistance to dynamic and static loads and reduced material consumption of articles made on the basis of obtained porous permeable materials, and possibility of using said articles for high-quality catalytic cleaning of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines.
