SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction industry and can be used in the field of creating stretch planes, in particular stretch ceilings. The technical result achieved by the claimed solution is to make the internal space of the tension unit of the stretch ceiling fabric hidden from view during its practical application, while maintaining the structure’ strength and the ease and simplicity of its installation and operation. The claimed technical result is achieved by using a tension unit for stretch ceiling material, which includes a bearing profile having a support panel designed for mounting on the support surface, and a mounting unit for the stretch ceiling material coupled with the support panel, containing a cavity open on one side for bringing in and fixing the stretch ceiling sheet with the help of a harpoon. The stretch ceiling sheet attachment unit is a frame, which is U-shaped in the cross-section, with the horizontal shelf being the base, and the vertical edges forming the lateral sides of the attachment unit - those are inclined to the supporting surface adjacent to the installation site of the stretch material tension unit, while a cavity for bringing in and fixing the stretch ceiling material is located between the lateral faces’ vertical edges.

EFFECT: technical result is to make the internal space of the tension unit of the stretch ceiling fabric hidden from view during its practical application, while maintaining the structure’ strength, and the ease and simplicity of its installation and operation.
