FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and can be used for detecting the influx into an oil-producing well of water pumped for the purpose of producing water and determining the relative content thereof in the associated waters and the production of said well. The proposed method consists in taking samples of the water pumped and the water extracted in the process, in analyzing the physicochemical parameters of the samples taken, and in producing a working sample using the data obtained, standardizing the latter and using the results to establish criteria through a cluster analysis to determine the origin of the water being analyzed. The reference samples of the formation water are separated using the maximum values of the statistical distances in relation to the samples of the pumped water obtained by means of a hierarchical cluster analysis method. The presence of the influx of the pumped water is determined by dividing the working sample into three groups by k-means method and estimating the location of the standardized values of the physicochemical parameters of each of the formed clusters in relation to each other, account is taken of the change over time in the ratio of the formation water to the pumped water in a mixture of associated waters.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in reliability of the method and reliability of the results obtained by using a set of generalized indicators characterizing the water to be pumped and the water to be extracted in parallel, and an assessment of the fractional ratio thereof.
