FIELD: energy generating industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and is intended to increase the efficiency of steam turbine units due to transition to a fundamentally new heat balance diagram. Steam-to-steam power plant is disclosed, which consists of two units, the main power steam turbine unit I, operating at standard supercritical steam parameters, and an additional steam turbine unit II connected to it through an external superheater (22), operating at supercritical initial steam parameters. The main unit contains a power boiler (1), whereas the additional unit contains a heat recovery steam generator (23). The superheated steam generated when the heat of fuel combustion is used in the external superheater (22). It is then used to generate power in the low-pressure cylinder (14) of the main power steam turbine unit I.

EFFECT: expanded range of applicable initial temperatures and steam pressure while simultaneous increasing power plant efficiency (the plant efficiency increases to 50-57%).
