FIELD: nuclear energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hybrid nuclear power plant (NPP). The NPP consists of two interconnected units, the main wet-steam unit I and the attached high-temperature unit II. Part of the steam comes from the reactor steam generator to the main wet-steam turbine with a low initial temperature of about 300°C. The second part of the steam, superheated in an external superheater to temperatures above 650°C, enters a high-temperature connected unit with a counter-pressure turbine and then, after the intermediate pressure cylinder, is diverted back to the low pressure cylinder of the main wet-steam unit. Moreover, the entire thermal scheme remains unchanged. The turbines have a single system of regenerative heating of feed water and a common deaerator.

EFFECT: increase in the capacity of the NPP while increasing its efficiency and increasing the operational reliability of a hybrid two-unit NPP.
