SUBSTANCE: according to one of the aspects, refrigerator includes: a cabinet comprising an inner casing having a storage compartment, a casing support coupled to the underside of the inner casing for supporting of it, and a base connected to the underside of the casing support to define a cavity together along with the said support; a door located at the front of the cabinet for opening and closing the storage compartment; and a cooling device disposed on the rear surface of the inner casing so that at least a portion of the cooling device is exposed to the storage compartment. A drainage hole is formed at the rear end of the lower surface of the inner casing. Attached to the underside of the inner casing is a drainage guide to direct the water flowing into the drainage opening downward. On the base, a catchment area is formed to collect water flowing through the catchment guide.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of refrigerator capable of directly draining condensed water, including defrosting residue, outside the storage compartment.
