FIELD: crushing or grinding of various materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cone crushers of coarse crushing of materials and can be used in mining industry and construction materials industry. Cone crusher comprises bed 1 with crushing bowl 2, working surface of which consists of annular belts 3, lined with armour 4, and forms crushing chamber with outer surface of crushing cone armour. On inner surface of crushing bowl 2 in annular belts 3 uniformly circumferential armour is installed, made with thickness difference of opposite lateral sides and forming, when installed in annular belt 3 protrusions with abutting armour 4. Ratio of thickness of opposite sides of armour increases from lower annular belts 3 to top. Ratio of thickness of opposite sides of armour can make 1.6–1.75.

EFFECT: increase in efficiency is provided in conical crusher due to creation of compression-destruction zones in chamber.
