FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment and can be used for experimental studies of the properties of materials under high-speed loading. The installation contains a mechanical pile driver and a mechanism for transferring the load to a flat sample. The load transfer mechanism has a movable body and a "P" -shaped base, the base is located inside the movable body and has arched through recesses at the supporting parts of the walls. A fixed axis with a head, a nut, washers and small clamping sleeves are provided for fastening in the base walls of the upper part of the flat sample. Washers are placed on a fixed axis with a head between the small clamping sleeve and the fixed axis head located in the base wall, and between the small clamping sleeve and the nut located in the base wall opposite to the wall housing the fixed axis head. A movable axle with a head, a special nut, adjusting washers and large clamping bushings are provided for fixing the movable lower part of the flat sample in the walls of the housing. Adjusting washers are located on the movable axis with a head between the large clamping sleeve and the movable axis head located in the wall of the movable body, and between the large clamping bushing and a special nut located in the wall of the movable body, opposite to the wall housing the movable axis head. Toothed nuts are attached to the working flat surfaces of the small clamping sleeves and the large clamping sleeves.

EFFECT: possibility of tensile testing of flat samples of materials in the range of strain rates up to 200 s-1 and more.
