FIELD: radars.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar, in particular to security systems for solving problems of monitoring and protecting the perimeter of a controlled area in airspace from unauthorized entry of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The technical result is achieved by the fact that the claimed method of protecting objects from the penetration of remotely controlled small-sized low-altitude aircraft implements a remote detection line for such targets using a radar motion sensor with spaced transmitting and receiving devices, in which these devices form two simultaneous detection channels: the main one is radar for direct detection of UAVs in the illumination zone of each illumination transmitter, the antennas of which are oriented vertically upward to the zenith, and an additional radio frequency one, which makes it possible to identify air targets as UAVs by the radio frequency characteristics of the detected remote control signals.
EFFECT: increased likelihood of correct UAV detection due to the use of two detection channels simultaneously in the object security complex - radar and radio frequency.
