FORECASTING METHOD OF PUERPERAL ENDOMETRITIS DEVELOPMENT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2744680 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of medical diagnostics, namely to obstetrics and gynecology and discloses a method for predicting the development of postpartum endometritis. Method is characterized by the fact that in the peripheral blood of the puerperant on the third day of postpartum period the level of C-reactive protein is determined together with the indicators of leukocytes and neutrophils and with the results obtained of the level of C-reactive protein exceeding 60 mg/ml, leukocytes being more than 12, 5⋅109/l and neutrophils being more than 72% the development of postpartum endometritis is predicted with a probability of 96.

EFFECT: method enables to start etiotropic therapy as early as possible in an obstetric hospital, to reduce the economic costs of forecasting, and can be used to optimize the postpartum endometritis early diagnostics.
