FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. The respiratory system for training and analyzing a patient's breathing includes a breathing unit containing a mouthpiece that fluidly connects at least one inspiratory airway having adjustable resistance to the inhalation air flow and at least one exhalation airway having adjustable resistance to the exhalation air flow. Adjustable inspiratory air resistance and variable expiratory air resistance are separate and configured to operate independently of each other. The electronic sensor unit contains at least one pressure sensor for measuring the air pressure in the mouthpiece and a processing unit for collecting/storing and/or transmitting air pressure data. The pressure sensor is located outside the pressure airway formed by the mouthpiece, inspiratory airway and expiratory airway.
EFFECT: invention provides a user with feedback on control and measurement.
