FIELD: shooting, hunting, sports optical sight.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as a shooting, hunting, sports optical sight. The optical sight includes a lens, a reticle, an inversion system and an eyepiece. The inversion system is made of two components. One of these components moves along the optical axis to two extreme positions when changing the magnification. The other component is fixed. The following ratios are observed:

"OFMCIS=-(2,0÷20,0)×OFSCIS, δAMCIS=(0,5÷5,0)×FFLMCIS" where "OFMCIS” and “OFSCIS” are optical forces of the moving and stationary components of the inversion system; “AMCIS” denotes the amount of movement of the moving component of the inversion system along the optical axis; “FFLMCIS” is the focal length of the moving component of the inversion system.

EFFECT: invention increases the range of multiplicity change and decrease in weight while maintaining quality characteristics.
