SUBSTANCE: method for controlling a material handling machine is claimed. A method of controlling a material handling machine comprises a material handling tool mounted to move relative to a chassis of the machine. The method contains the following operations: location of the tool for moving materials in the first position of the first area; moving the tool to move materials to the second area; providing a control system for automatically returning the material transfer tool to the first region by positioning it at a second position in the first region other than the first position in the first region; return of the tool to move materials to the second area.
EFFECT: proposed is combination of automatic and manual steps.
