FIELD: gas turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: method has been created for controlling a gas turbine engine (10) having in an axial flow a compressor (14), a combustion chamber (16), a compressor turbine (18) and an exhaust pipe (30), and the gas turbine can operate in at least a high output power range, moderately high output power range, moderate output power range, moderate low power range and low output power range. The method comprises the stages at which: in the range of moderately high output power, the angle of the adjustable guide vanes is changed in such a way as to maintain the third predetermined temperature in the combustion chamber; in the range of moderate output power, the adjustable guide vanes are closed and gas is by-passed from the downstream part (36) of the compressor (14) to the upstream part (38) of the compressor (14) so that the first predetermined temperature in the combustion chamber is maintained, in the range of moderately low output power, the variable guide vanes are closed and gas is bypassed from the downstream part (36) of the compressor (14) to the upstream part (38) of the compressor (14), and gas is by-passed from the downstream part (36) of the compressor (14) to the exhaust pipe (30) so that the temperature is maintained at combustion chamber.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of gas turbine operating at various ranges and temperature maintained.
