FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely to beams of roofs and floors of buildings and structures. Composite structure beam consists of chords, walls of metal sheets, which form a cavity filled with a composite material, while a rigid hollow shell is placed inside the composite material, the transverse dimensions of which are variable in each cross section along the length of the beam of the composite structure. Thickness of the composite material, located between the rigid hollow shell and metal sheets, changes like the outline of the diagram of reduced normal stresses from loads in the chords and the wall, and in the zones of their conjugation it is similar to the outline of the diagram of the total reduced normal stresses.
EFFECT: increased service reliability.
