FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the production of high-strength thick-plate rolled steel on a reversing mill, and can be used for the manufacture of these products from low-alloy steels. A continuously cast steel billet is obtained, its heating and holding at austenitizing temperature, rough rolling, cooling the obtained rolled stock in air, subsequent finishing rolling to a given sheet thickness and accelerated cooling of the finished rolled stock. A continuously cast billet is obtained from steel containing, wt%, С≤0,065, Mn≤1,2, Si≤0,25, Al≤0,05, (Cu+Cr+Ni)≤0,6, Nb≤0,045, Мо≤0,35, Р≤0,01, S≤0,002, iron and inevitable impurities - the rest. Rough rolling is carried out with a deformation end temperature of 880-980 °С. Finishing rolling to the final sheet thickness is carried out up to the deformation end temperature of 870-940 °C. Accelerated cooling is carried out to a temperature not exceeding 100 °C or to a temperature of 250-420 °C, at a temperature of the beginning of accelerated cooling not lower than 830 °C, and with a cooling rate in the range of 20-90 °C/sec.

EFFECT: increased cold resistance and corrosion resistance of sheet products while maintaining high strength, ductility and impact strength and reducing the cost of sheet products.
