FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises rough rolling of continuously cast slab, intermediate cooling-down of produced strip plate to preset temperature and final rolling to preset size. High anisotropic mechanical properties of articles result from that the rough rolling of initial blank is carried out in two stages with total reduction of 45-65%, first, in longitudinal direction to produce strip plate length of 0.70-0.98 of working roll length, then canting for 90° in plan is performed and rolling in crosswise direction is made to produce strip plate width of 0.6-0.85 of finished strip width, finished strip thickness making 3.5-6 of finished strip thicknesses. Final rolling is also made in two passes with total reduction in height of 70-83% and total number of passes of 9-25, in crosswise direction with strip plate reduction in height of 25-40% to make strip plate width corresponding to finished strip width and with subsequent strip plate back canting of 90° in plan and rolling in lengthwise direction to produce finished strip preset thickness and length.
EFFECT: higher quality of rolled low-alloyed strips.
