SUBSTANCE: plate heat exchanger comprises a set of heat exchanger plates defining a first flow path and a second flow path, wherein each heat exchanger plate comprises an opening in the orifice region, the orifice region being connected to one of the two flow paths and sealed against the other of the two flow paths by means of a gasket system. A support element (15) is located in the sealed area of the hole. The support element (15) has a thickness corresponding to the distance between two adjacent heat exchanger plates. The hole area (8b) contains a plurality of grooves, and the support member (15) contains a plurality of sections (17) disposed in the grooves.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a plate heat exchanger suitable for high pressures without increasing the risk of leaks.
