FIELD: agricultural technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural technology and namely to feed additives. The composition having the ability to adsorb mycotoxin contains a mixture of: (a) at least one magnesium phyllosilicate in a percentage amount ranging from 19 to 75 wt.% based on the total weight of the mixture; (b) at least one aluminum phyllosilicate in a percentage amount of 25 to 85% by weight based on the total weight of the mixture; (c) activated vegetable carbon expressed in the percentage terms ranging from 1 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the mixture. The composition is used as an additive to compound feed, as an additive in ready-made mixtures intended for direct consumption by animals or as an ingredient for obtaining a composition of complex additives that adsorb mycotoxin.
EFFECT: composition, which has ability to adsorb mycotoxin, provides prevention of mycotoxicosis caused by fumonisin, zearalenone, ochratoxin, T2 toxin or deoxynivalenol. The invention is non-toxic to animals and it does not affect the organoleptic characteristics of feed. The invention has a low prime cost.
