SUBSTANCE: system (1) for dumping and lifting the underwater pipeline (3) according to the invention comprises a pipeline fastening assembly (5) configured to be attached to the end (13) of the pipeline. The system also contains a cable attachment unit (7) configured to attach to at least one drop and lift cable (15). The pipeline attachment unit (5) contains a flexible connector (81) connecting the pipeline attachment (83) to the connector part (17) of the pipeline attachment unit (5). The flexible connector section (81) has a substantially constant annular shape with a substantially constant dimension.
EFFECT: efficient construction of underwater pipelines.
