FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: part of a tube-like panel for a fluidised bed reactor and a corresponding method are disclosed. Part of the tube-like panel includes a plurality of parallel metal pipes having a pipe length L1, an outer surface, an initial OD1 outer diameter and an initial wall thickness WT1, and passing in direction of circumference recess formed in central part of each of pipes between first and second end parts. Recess has constant depth D, which is less than thickness WT1 of the wall. Recess surrounds the outer surface of the central part of the metal pipe. Metal coating passing in the circumferential direction has a constant thickness equal to the maximum depth D of the recess to create a protective layer in the recess of each of the plurality of metal pipes. Rib is continuously welded between each two adjacent pipes.
EFFECT: enabling creation of a cost-effective and efficient part of a pipe-and-tube panel and a method of making a part of a pipe-string panel in a fluidised-bed reactor, which minimize the problems caused by erosion in the part of the tube-like panel in the fluidised-bed reactor, in particular, in the vertical part of the water-tube panel adjoining the upper edge of the lower part of the shield of the circulating fluidised bed reactor coated with refractory.
