SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the upper structure of the railway track, in particular to the methods of digging the ballast crashed stone. Before digging, the crashed stone is moistened with water. Then the working body of the tool is deepened and moved for digging in the crashed stone.
EFFECT: effort required to insert the working body into the crashed stone is reduced.
