FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment and can be used in mechanical engineering, aircraft construction, ship building in determining deformation properties of polymer composite materials. Each object under study is fixed in cantilever manner and, under loading a fixed value statically concentrated force is applied to its free end. The deflection of a polymer composite material sample is identified in the preset section and (or) the maximum deflection of the sample free end is determined as the distance on the measuring scale between two projections of the position of the sample preset section and (or) the free end of the sample before loading and after loading with a fixed value statically concentrated force. The maximum angle of rotation (twisting) in the sample preset section and (or) at the sample free end is defined using a measuring scale with a protractor. Flexural stiffness is determined by calculation methods.
EFFECT: ensured simplicity and accuracy of measuring the flexural stiffness of a plate made of a composite material under various temperature influences.
