SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the weight of milled vegetal materials in a vehicle body, in which sloping or picked up from rolls of grass, passing through a combine equipped with a silo with a shield, hingedly installed with possibility of rotation in vertical plane, and grinding drum, forming into flow and acquiring kinetic energy by means of latter, enter body, wherein plant materials are fed and compacted by energy of flow and layer by layer through the return movement of the shield in the vertical plane through an α angle its stroke, note here that flow energy of every next layer is quenched by previous one, while body homogeneity and density depend on thickness of every compacted layer. Device for increasing the weight of ground vegetable materials in a vehicle body includes a combine, equipped with silo with hingedly installed apron, with possibility of α angle fixation its rotation in vertical plane.

EFFECT: inventions allow increasing the ground vegetal materials mass in the motor-and-tractor facility body during the forage preparation.
