FIELD: furniture industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the furniture industry. The first panel (102) and the second panel (104) are placed next to each other so that the side part (108) of the first panel is at the same level with the side part (109) of the second panel. The side part of the first panel and the side part of the second panel are milled by means of at least one milling tool (150). The side part of the first panel and the side part of the second panel are connected by applying an adhesive (161) to both joint surfaces. The adhesive creates a hinge joint between the first and second panels. The first panel is connected to the second panel at the same time as the third panel is connected to the fourth panel. Moreover, the first and fourth panels form the side parts or the upper and lower parts of the piece of furniture, and the second and third panels form the folding rear element. The first glue thread connects the first and second panels. The second glue thread connects the third and fourth panels. The first and second adhesive strands are separated by the adhesive-free area.
EFFECT: assembly of the piece of furniture is simplified.
