SUBSTANCE: method comprises the steps of: a) providing a packaging material comprising cardboard, b) forming fold lines and / or notches in the packaging material by applying laser or mechanical creasing to the material, c) folding the material along fold lines and / or notches and fixing it in position to form a substantially tubular container and d) forming at least one seam by sealed joined between at least two opposite regions of the preform to form an at least partially sealed package, e) at least one of steps b), c) and d) is carried out in a horizontal, vertical or vertical type molding, filling and sealing device. Packaging is made as described above.
