FIELD: remote devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to means of combating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of a civil type, including in the airspace of a settlement, in particular to decisions on the search and classification of an aircraft with the subsequent identification of UAVs and taking measures to protect against UAVs. The claimed method of protection against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) contains the stages at which: by means of primary detection means, including a lidar, the detection of an aircraft in a controlled area of airspace; determining by means of primary detection means, including lidar, the spatial coordinates of the detected flying object, which are sent to the control and classification means; capture the detected flying object using the recognition means; and classifying the detected flying object based on the analysis of at least one image using the control and classification means. In this case, the specified analysis is performed using a neural network. When defining a flying object as a UAV, measures to protect against UAVs are used with the help of a means of neutralization.
EFFECT: providing an integrated solution for detecting, classifying and countering unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular civilian type UAVs, without damaging them (without disabling the on-board UAV control system).
