FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to means of detecting and countering unmanned aerial vehicles (hereinafter – UAV) of a civilian type in a controlled zone. A method for detecting and counteracting unknown unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) includes stages at which: a) the detection of an unknown aircraft object in a controlled area of airspace is carried out using a primary detection tool, including lidar; b) spatial coordinates of the detected unknown aircraft object are determined using the primary detection tool, including lidar, which are sent to a control and classification tool; c) the detected unknown aircraft object is captured using a recognition tool containing at least one video camera; d) the detected unknown aircraft object is classified using the control and classification tool based on the analysis of at least one image obtained from the recognition tool, while the specified analysis is performed using neural networks; e) when determining the unknown aircraft object as UAV using the control and classification tool, UAV is recognized; f) when determining UAV as unknown UAV, directional radio suppression of the UAV control signal is performed using a neutralization tool until UAV leaves the controlled area of the airspace.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring the protection of the airspace of the protected object.
