FIELD: water disinfection.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in disinfection of water using ultraviolet irradiation using a device (1) connected to a flexible hose for supplying water, in particular a hand shower (1'), and a holder (2) with a socket (21) for a device (1) for supplying water when not in use. In this case, UV irradiation is carried out on the device (1) for water supply. UV irradiation is directed from the holder (2) to the water supply device (1) when the water supply device (1) is in the holder (2). The attachment unit for the water supply device contains a device (1) for water supply connected to a flexible hose and a holder (2) with a socket (21) for fastening the device (1) for supplying water when not in use, as well as means (3) for UV- irradiation of the water contained in the water supply device (1). The means (3) for UV irradiation are located in the holder (2), and in the device (1) for water supply in the position of attachment to the holder (2), opposite the means (3) for UV irradiation, there is a first window (15) for passing UV - radiation.

EFFECT: water disinfection is provided.
