FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of water for its disinfection. Device for disinfecting drinking water with ultraviolet radiation includes housing 1 of cylindrical shape with inlet tube 2 for water supply and outlet tube 3 for output of treated water, as well as installed inside housing ultraviolet light-emitting diodes 7. In housing 1 there is additionally installed quartz envelope 4 with gap 5 formed between inner walls of housing 1 and external walls of envelope 4, to create laminar flow of water in thin vortex tangential layer. Inside quartz envelope 4 along its vertical axis there is a hollow polyhedral holder 6 of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes 7 fixed on the outer side of each face of holder 6. Edges of holder 6 are turned relative to each other at an angle equal to the angle of ultraviolet radiation scattering. Inlet water supply pipe 2 is connected at a tangent to upper part of housing 1, and outlet one is tangentially to lower lateral part of housing 1 and in form of coil is passed through lower base of housing 1 and inside hollow holder 6 of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes 7.
EFFECT: high efficiency of drinking water disinfection up to 99,9 %.
